Religious Education Program

Picture
The primary purpose of our Religious Education Program is to assist parents with the development of their children's faith formation. They accomplish this through the Religious Education Program which is responsible for the religious instructions for grades K-10. Planning and coordinating "Generations of Faith" programs is another way in which the Faith Formation Program assists parents in teaching their children about their faith. Opening and closing liturgies, All Saint's Day Program, The Family Advent Program and socials such as the Spaghetti Supper are all planned to bring multi-generations together and allow the younger parishioners to become involved in parish life. The religious education program also instructs and prepares the children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. There are morning and evening classes. The morning classes meet from 9:00 am to 10:15 am (Grades 1-5), and the evening classes meet from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm (Grades 6-10) in the Parish Center. You can contact the Religious Ed. Department by e-mailing Robert Charron at rcharron@icpenacook.org or calling (603) 753-4413 ext. 4.
