Our Mission
_We, as a united faith community, are a caring Roman Catholic parish, living the
Christian tradition through celebration and service. Our vision and responsibility is
to proclaim the presence of Jesus to our community through the joyful witness of
our lives. In response to the Vision, we accept the responsibility for the following
as our Mission:
Celebrating sacraments and liturgies in ways that honor the diversity of our
households and individual while enabling us to joyfully share our community in
faith and to develop our active spiritual life.
Providing educational and social opportunities, especially through faith formation
programs, which are sensitive to the challenges and conditions in which our
members must witness their faith commitment and supportive of their growth in
faith and fellowship throughout all stages of their lives.
Encourage our members and the entire community to act confidently as leaders and
ministers by identifying, training, and strengthening ourselves to use the diversity of
the gifts with which we have been blessed.
Evangelizing ourselves and our community through our continuing discernment of
God’s Word and way in our lives and our active response to God’s call to seek out
those who are searching to share God’s Word and love in their lives.
Committing ourselves to identify, address, and relieve: injustice, uncaring attitudes,
or lack of concern for others; whether locally or globally through the investment of
our time, skills, talents and other resources.
Promoting and supporting the quality of life for all persons within our geographical
communities and positive interactions and cooperation of those of other faith
communities and traditions.
Sustaining and promoting the fiscal viability of our parish by investing in and
harvesting the time, talent, and treasure of our members to support our Vision and
Mission.
