After months of preparation and many thanks to the creator (a New Hampshire Native) we will be launching a computer database on January 1st! Making this database function for our pantry was the job of Zach Blanchard for his Senior Project. Every family that uses the pantry has been inputted into a database that will provide a more accurate and efficient way to produce reports and keep track of everything. A select few of the of the volunteers will be trained on the software and it will be beneficial to everyone that works in the food pantry and those that receive assistance. The database's role in our pantry will continually grow and is also part of a new plan that will be put in place concurrently to lean people off of using the pantry. There is a lot more to learn so stay tuned for more updates; including photos and videos. Come back soon!
